It was a great day to be apart of Shine Drums yesterday.
Los Campesinos! took to the Radio One/NME stage to a packed out tent at this years Reading Festival and performed an out of this world set.

I was fortunate enough to catch up with Jason Adelinia and the guys before the show for some good time hangs and to check up on the US Custom ‘Bug’ kit we supplied Jason for the festival dates.

Without a doubt, the ‘Bug’ kit was running like a dream and of course, getting some interesting looks and comments from passers by as the kit was ready waiting for line check.

As the band took to the stage, the tent was overflowing and the sound that filled the tent was unbelievable! With every kick hit, it felt like a punch in the nuts. Again…again…again. beating you into shape and with every snare hit a slap in the face to make sure you realised what just happened.

This has been the most common feedback with our ‘Bug’ kit. “that kick…..that kick is killer…..”

Jason and the band performed an un-real set. Full of energy, balls and hooks that enticed more people into the already overflowing tent. and it goes to show this band are destined for even bigger and better things.

It was great to hang with the band, and it was even better to witness this incredible kit being performed with class in the UK’s best festival.
