I’ve worn a lot of hats in my life but playing Drums is the Hat I was made to wear. I got started playing live shows in the mid 70’s in California as a rock Drummer.
I took a break from playing for a while went to collage, got married and then divorced, even competed in the PRCA as a team roper as well as traveled working live stock.
In 2003 my life changed as met the love of my life Traci. A native Texan she just happened to be in California, she told me the day we met she was heading back to Texas if she could just get off that LA Freeway. Well she did and brought me with her which has turned out to be the best move I could ever have made.
Didn’t take me long to get back into the Music scene once I got here. I was very fortunate to have met and played for an award winning song writer by the name of Gregory Swint (he wrote “Love A Little Stronger” for Diamond Rio) as well as some very talented Texas Country Stars and up-n-comers since sitting back down behind my kit. Such as James Lann (last 3 singles have been in the Top 5 including a # 1) Mark Allan Atwood (2010 Rising Star winner @ The Texas Music Awards) just to name a few.
Last yr 2009 I signed on with Shine Drums and am playing a first release Seawaterfade Definition series kit w/a Sunrisefade snare that I just love.
I have spent the last few years out on the road with a variety of artist playing the Texas Country music scene and I just love it.
