About Luke Thompson
My names Luke and ive been playing drums for about 7 or 8 years now. I started when I went to high school as we were told it was a good idea to pick an instrument to learn and im so glad that I chose drums. My favorite artists include Dave Grohl, Dom Howard, Travis Barker, Tony Thaxton, Phill Rudd, the list goes on. I feel my influences come from groups such as Foo Fighters, Muse, ACDC, Nirvana, Blink 182, Fall out boy, Bloc Party, Biffy Clyro and although I am not currently in a group (I had to sell my Kit to pay uni fees) Im always practising on the pads.
Highlight of my drumming career so far? I would definately say playing with cockney rebel in 2007 in a charity concert.
